In this course, you will become familiar with the OSP mechanistic particle dissolution model based on particle size distribution (PSD) and how to parameterize it according to in vitro PSD and dissolution data.
The exercise's main learning objectives are: - Fitting a cumulative distribution function to a measured particle size distribution using R. - Fitting remaining parameters of the particle dissolution model to dissolution profiles measured in biorelevant media using MoBi®. - Transferring parameters to PK-Sim® for predicting in vivo dissolution in the gastrointestinal tract, and potential use in your PK simulations.
