A Simple PBPK Model (Team)
A Simple PBPK Model (Team)
PK-Sim/OSP-Suite Version 11
In this series of exercises, you will learn how to create a PBPK model of midazolam, a widely used sedative, approved as premedication before surgical interventions. More specifically you learn how to:
1. Utilize in vitro data
2. Perform sensitivity analysis of the model
3. Optimize the model with parameter identification
4. Compare simulation results with observed data
The exercises are based on the published PBPK model of midazolam:
Hanke N. et al. CPT Pharmacometrics Syst. Pharmacol. (2018) 7, 647–659
